Kyrie Irving is the mastermind behind the latest ANTA KAI 1 colorway which mimics the unpredictableness of his offensive game on the court just as attractive as it is palyed on a basketball court. Named “KALEIDOSCOPE”, the white/black/teal/crimson mix is an adaptation of the Dallas Mavericks point guard’s fantastic handle moves, incredible stamina, and his perfect in-game strategy – that’s right “offensive kaleidoscope” the brand likes to call it
“Life and basketball are Kyrie’s ‘KAILEIDOSCOPE,’ liable to change the form of perception, grasping as to what is happening to each passing moment for his opponents,” indicated Shaneika Warden, the color designer at ANTA.
ANTA KAI 1: The Kaleidoscope Colorway Release Details
“What we did was go find that life force, bring it out in color and get the colorway to interact with those wearing them like a fan on Saturday. We did it through fresh ideas that were jotted down and prototypes that were made – that way, the fans could now wear the same imaginative pair of shoes that Kyrie uses to keep his thinkers buzzing,” revealed Astin Davis and Jared Subawon.
By the way, the shoe wears out somewhat looking as the main part is mostly black and silver but it is featured by green and red color detailing across the visage which add to the contrast and harmony. The inner lining and tongue have subtle fading graduate effects while the back of the midsole beams with a bright teal and crimson tail that is somewhat muted but can be felt strongly.
The ANTA KAI 1 “KAILEIDOSCOPE” go live for sale online on 31 August, and the first stores are Robbie – $130 USD. Look at the layout of the newly created piece of artwork above in the gallery.
