Just a day after teasing the outsole of his Baklava x New Balance 1906R “Rosewater,” Action Bronson has unveiled the first full glimpse of the highly anticipated sneaker. Sharing a duo of photos on his Instagram Stories, Bronson revealed that the shoe will be available in both adult and kid sizes. He also shared that the design draws inspiration from “women’s colorways,” specifically the trend of male sneaker enthusiasts purchasing larger sizes in women’s shoes to enjoy unique styles.
The Instagram caption declares, “THIS IS ALREADY THE MOST POLARIZING SNEAKER OF 2024 you just wait,” emphasizing Bronson’s deep appreciation for women’s sneaker designs. He adds, “My love for the women’s colorway has no end. Women’s aerobics meets Me. I’ve been collecting sneakers for 37 years. If you’re a true sneakerhead, you know about coppin’ the women’s joints.”
The “Rosewater” sneaker is as vibrant as expected, featuring a white midfoot and toe box with reflective silver details. The design is accented with an array of pink, purple, blue, and neon green highlights, all set atop a bright orange midsole. The kid’s version mirrors many of the same features but swaps out the lacing system for a large midfoot strap, making it both stylish and practical.
