Adidas is celebrating 75 years of innovation and excellence in sportswear with a distinguished collection featuring updated versions of its iconic Samba, Gazelle, SL 72, and Handball Spezial silhouettes. This limited-edition range highlights the brand’s legacy with unique commemorative details, such as the number “75” embossed on the heel and the date “18.08.2024” inscribed on the interior lining of each shoe.
While adidas was founded in 1924 as Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory), it officially became adidas following a split between co-founders Adolf ‘Adi’ Dassler and his brother Rudolf, who later established PUMA.
The anniversary collection showcases four distinct models: the Samba in a timeless black and white colorway, the Gazelle in a bold burnt mustard suede complemented by black accents, the SL 72 in a striking red and white with nubuck detailing, and the Handball Spezial in a vibrant cobalt blue suede with white and gold embellishments.
This special adidas 75th Anniversary collection is now available for purchase online and at select retailers.
