Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore has unveiled a preview of its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, showcasing a collaboration with Mach-Hommy. While the full range is set to release this week, the preview reveals potential future releases, including two New Balance 997 models designed by ALD.
Santis, who maintains a close partnership with New Balance and oversees the MADE in USA division, is also working on the ALD-designed 990v4 for this fall. The two New Balance 997s featured in the lookbook add to the excitement. One model appears to be a reissue of the “Yellow Tongue” design from their 2019 debut, although it remains unclear if this is a re-release or a nostalgic tribute. The second model presents an olive upper with maroon and navy accents near the collar, finished with a yellow detail on the MADE in USA-branded tongue.
At present, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have not disclosed the release date for these 997s or confirmed if they will be part of a coordinated project. Keep an eye out for further updates and a complete set of visuals, as these anticipated sneakers are expected to launch in the coming months, priced around $200 USD, through New Balance and select retailers.
