In Rockaway, Queens, the Almeda Club serves as a dynamic incubator for surfing, wellness, collaboration, and community. Founded by Graham Hill and Joe Falcone, this unique members’ club offers a variety of amenities, including saunas, surf lockers, a barber shop, and after-school programs. Currently, it also hosts an exhibition by artist Edwin Bolta titled PATH WEG CAMINO, featuring 18 paintings, an animated short, and a massive wood sculpture.
Almeda Club and Stan Ray Collaboration
To celebrate this new showcase, the Almeda Club has partnered with American workwear brand Stan Ray to launch a fashion collaboration adorned with Bolta’s unique designs. The collection includes made-in-the-USA Double Knee Painter Pants and Shop Jackets, featuring Bolta’s special indigo dyeing process and local embroidery. The artist’s signature “Flower” icon appears on each piece, while the Almeda Club and Bolta Fabrications logos are embroidered as patches on the back. The collection also includes graphic T-shirts inspired by the exhibition’s paintings and a classic Bolta Fabrications hat featuring the Almeda Club’s signage.
