Mike Amiri shook up Paris Fashion Week with a hybrid fashion and music event that attracted stars like Maluma, French Montana, and Kyle Kuzma. The show featured live performances from The Yussef Dayes Experience, providing the soundtrack for AMIRI’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Amiri, the creative director, brought Hollywood icons to life on the runway through his distinctive wardrobe designs.
Drawing inspiration from his favorite Hollywood characters and merging stagecraft with handcraft, AMIRI fused modern male iconography with contemporary styling. The collection was heavily influenced by the retro ’70s jazz era, both in music and fashion, transporting the audience to a different time. The attire was inspired by mid-century Jazz and Big Band idols, offering a versatile look that transitions seamlessly from stage to street. Casual staples included contemporary, oversized suits with dramatized lapels and flared pants, paired with crossover or continental ties. Bedazzled blazers added an extra touch of suave formality, while satin chore jackets and various textures highlighted the boxy silhouettes.
In a nod to jazz bands, AMIRI introduced accessories like a base drum bag, treble clef pins, and other musical motifs. One t-shirt, reading “Jazz Hideaway,” was worn by Mike Amiri for his final bow, paying homage to the musical genre and its dramatic flair. Wallet chains were added to both casual denim trousers and suit pants, showcasing their versatility and the ability to dress up or down for any occasion.
The show masterfully blended Hollywood glamour with jazz-inspired fashion, making AMIRI’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection a standout at Paris Fashion Week.
