Andrew Garfield joins Julia Roberts in the cast of the upcoming thriller “After the Hunt,” helmed by Luca Guadagnino.
Set in the academic world, the screenplay, written by Nora Garrett, delves into the story of a college professor grappling with her troubled past. When a prominent student accuses one of her colleagues, she must confront her history head-on. Roberts is set to portray the professor, who finds herself at a crossroads as she navigates the accusation. The official synopsis describes her journey as she attempts to escape the situation while confronting a dark secret from her past that threatens to resurface.
Guadagnino, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, is set to commence production on the film later this summer. Following his recent success with the Zendaya-led tennis drama “Challengers,” Guadagnino continues to garner attention in the film industry.
