Balenciaga Launches Le City Bag Campaign Shot by Mario Sorrenti

Balenciaga has just unveiled its latest campaign, bringing fresh attention to the iconic Le City bag. Launched today, the campaign showcases the House’s signature style through the expert lens of renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti. The campaign stars a stellar lineup, including brand ambassador Nicole Kidman, supermodels Kate Moss, Amelia Gray, and Kit Butler. 

Originally introduced in 2001, the Le City bag is renowned for its enigmatic blend of maximalism and practicality. This new iteration continues the legacy, featuring luxurious Arena leather and adorned with Palladium Vibrato hardware. Key design elements include reinforced corners with small metal buckles, distinctive thimble-like studs, leather lace-strung zipper pulls, braided handles, and a surface that develops a unique patina over time. 

Mario Sorrenti’s visuals bring the Le City bag to life in various sizes, colors, and finishes, highlighting its versatile appeal. Balenciaga’s latest campaign not only breathes new life into a classic piece but also underscores the brand’s dedication to blending innovation with tradition.
