Violet, the eldest child of Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, graduated from high school last week. This sighting comes amid reports that Affleck and Lopez are living separately just two years into their marriage. While Lopez remains in their $60 million Bel Air mansion, Affleck is staying in a $100,000 monthly rental home near Garner’s Brentwood residence, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Affleck and Garner, who were married from 2005 to 2018, share three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. Recently, Affleck was spotted without his wedding ring but wore it again during his outing on Friday. Lopez was also seen wearing her wedding ring in Los Angeles on the same day.
Rumors of marital issues between Affleck and Lopez surfaced last week, as the couple had not been seen together since late March. Despite reuniting at Fin’s school recital last week, Affleck did not attend the premiere of Lopez’s Netflix movie “Atlas” on Monday. Lopez declined to comment on their marriage during the film’s press tour.
A source told Page Six that Affleck regrets marrying Lopez in July 2022, describing the past two years as a “fever dream.” The source suggested that if divorce could be based on “temporary insanity,” Affleck would pursue it, adding, “He feels like he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
