Birth of The Teenager (BoTT) has teamed up with Japanese-born, New York-based artist Meguru Yamaguchi for a limited-edition capsule collection. BoTT, founded in 2019 by Japanese artist TEITO, is known for its timeless streetwear staples, crafted with premium materials and playful graphics. The brand has previously collaborated with names like Umbro, TTTMSW, and Reebok.
Meguru Yamaguchi, who operates the Brooklyn-based studio GOLD WOOD ARTWORKS, is renowned for his dynamic abstract paintings that resemble an explosion of paint captured in time. Drawing inspiration from the expressive works of Vincent Van Gogh and Kazuo Shiraga, Yamaguchi’s art emphasizes the feeling of painting, with oversized brushstrokes transformed into three-dimensional canvases and sculptures.
The BoTT and Yamaguchi collaboration features a range of branded tees, pillows, and an ashtray, all adorned with BoTT’s acronym and Yamaguchi’s signature blue, black, and white abstract marks. Shop the entire collection online now.
