According to producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Pitt underwent extensive training, spending “four or five months” mastering the art of driving an F1 car. Bruckheimer shared this exciting news with People at the premiere of *Young Woman and the Sea* in Los Angeles.
“He trained for four or five months. He’s an amazing driver,” Bruckheimer praised.
“In fact, some of the F1 drivers said he’s a natural athlete. He really is. He’s amazing in that car,”Bruckheimer continued.
Brad Pitt’s Intense Preparation for New Role
When asked about Pitt’s speed behind the wheel, Bruckheimer humorously replied, “I can’t tell you. The insurance company will kill me.”
In the upcoming film, Pitt stars alongside Javier Bardem and Damson Idris. The ‘Babylon’ actor takes on the role of a retired F1 driver looking to mentor and team up with a rising star.
Pitt was recently seen at the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone race track in Northamptonshire, U.K., donning a racing suit alongside real-life F1 drivers.
“I’ve got to say it’s just great to be here,” Pitt told Sky Sports F1 presenter.
“We’re just having such a laugh, such a laugh, time of my life,” the actor added.
The title of the movie has not yet been revealed, but anticipation is already building for Pitt’s remarkable performance and his thrilling turn behind the wheel of an F1 car.
