BTS’s Jin Appointed Global Ambassador by French Jewelry Brand FRED

Jin of BTS has achieved a significant milestone by partnering with French jewelry label FRED, marking his first luxury deal as a solo artist. The K-pop star will serve as a Global Brand Ambassador for the prestigious brand.

“His radiant energy, artistic qualities, values, and high standards constantly push him to excel, strongly resonating with those of our maison and our founder Fred Samuel, with whom he shares an unwavering optimism and joie de vivre,” said FRED vice president and artistic director Valérie Samuel, according to WWD.

While BTS has previously entered brand deals as a group, notably with Louis Vuitton during Virgil Abloh’s tenure, this partnership with FRED is a first for Jin individually.

Jin recently became the first BTS member to complete his mandatory service in the South Korean military, having been discharged last month. The K-pop group isn’t expected to reunite until 2025, once all members – J-Hope, Jimin, Jung Kook, RM, Suga, and V – have completed their service.

In addition to his new role with FRED, Jin is reportedly set to release his debut solo LP later this year. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the project. Fans eagerly await what the future holds for Jin as he embarks on this exciting new chapter of his career.
