Calvin Klein is making a strong return to the runway with Veronica Leoni stepping in as the new Creative Director of Collection. Since Raf Simons’ departure in 2017, the brand has been without a creative lead, but Leoni’s appointment marks a new chapter for Calvin Klein.
Veronica Leoni, a 2023 LVMH Prize finalist and founder of QUIRA, brings a wealth of experience from her time at Jil Sander, Céline, Moncler, and The Row. “I’m thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to write a new chapter of the Calvin Klein story,” Leoni stated. “For decades, Calvin Klein interpreted the idea of bold self-expression, and I am eager to empower it with a strong accent on style and creativity.”
Leoni will collaborate closely with CK’s Global Brand President, Eva Serrano, to blend her deep industry expertise with Calvin Klein’s modern aesthetic. Collection, which includes menswear, womenswear, underwear, and accessories, will debut on the runway for Fall 2025. Serrano expressed confidence in Leoni’s approach, saying, “Her purposeful design and work ethic, combined with our shared values, will enrich our iconic brand and resonate with consumers globally.”
PVH CEO Stefan Larsson also shared his enthusiasm, stating that Leoni’s work will elevate Calvin Klein and reinforce its foundation as a leading lifestyle brand. This year has already been significant for the label, with campaigns featuring Jeremy Allen White and brand ambassadors BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s Jungkook, reconnecting Calvin Klein with its younger audience.
With Leoni at the helm, Calvin Klein is set to make waves in the fashion industry once again. Stay tuned to see how she will shape the future of this iconic brand.
