Cecilie Bahnsen Unveils First Women’s ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII Model

image

Cecilie Bahnsen has just announced her third collaboration with ASICS. The Danish designer first partnered with the brand last year, reimagining the ASICS GT-2160 as a sheer Mary Jane sneaker. She followed up a few months later with another version of the GT-2160, this time featuring dual straps adorned with rubberized flowers.

For her latest collaboration, Bahnsen has transformed the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII into an exclusive women’s model. This unique sneaker features three straps: two in the Mary Jane style and one wrapping around the heel, each adorned with a small metal flower at the velcro points. As with her previous ASICS designs, the GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII comes in two distinct colorways. One is a gray model with dark blue straps and a semi-transparent yellow sole, and the other is a whitish gray with a black sole and mint green straps.

This collaboration highlights Bahnsen’s ability to blend her signature style with ASICS’ innovative design, creating a shoe that stands out both in form and function.
