Clairo is back, enchanting fans with exciting news. She has officially announced her third studio album, aptly titled ‘Charm,’ and has released its captivating first single, “Sexy to Someone.”
Set to drop on July 12, ‘Charm’ arrives nearly three years after her critically acclaimed sophomore album, ‘Sling.’ Each of Clairo’s albums is crafted with a single producer, and this time, she’s teamed up with Leon Michels of El Michels Affair. According to Rolling Stone, the album was recorded entirely in New York, split between Allaire Studios in Woodstock and Diamond Mine Recording in Queens.
The 11-track album offers a two-sided musical journey. “Sexy to Someone,” the second track, showcases Clairo’s signature style with a breezy beat and her effortlessly dreamy vocals. In the chorus, she sings, “Sexy to somebody, it would help me out / Oh, I need a reason to get out of the house / And it’s just a little thing I can’t live without.”
