Clarks Launches ‘Stranger Things’ Children’s Shoe Collection Inspired by the 1980s

Clarks is embracing the supernatural with its latest venture into the Upside Down through a thrilling collaboration with Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” The newly launched Clarks x Stranger Things Children’s Collection is now available, with prices kicking off at $75.

Launched on July 11, this collection dives deep into the 1980s nostalgia that “Stranger Things” fans adore. Clarks has delved into its own archives to bring back past styles for this exciting partnership. The collaboration spans several themed collections: the Varsity collection, which draws inspiration from Hawkins High School athletics featuring shoes in orange and green—the school colors; the Icons collection, which pays tribute to the Hellfire Club with designs including the Wallabee, the Desert Boot, and the Desert Trek; and an all-black collection that channels the eerie essence of the Upside Down.

The shoes are designed with premium features such as leather uppers, breathable linings, cushioned soles, and distinctive “Stranger Things” iconography embossed on stamps and fobs. The Icons collection showcases sand suede uppers with embroidered and screen-printed Hellfire and Hawkins logos, and premium crepe soles, enhancing the 1980s feel.

Tara McRae, Clarks’ global chief marketing and digital officer, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting, “We’re very excited to team up with Netflix to create a Clarks x Stranger Things product line for kids. This series not only captivates with its global popularity but also offers us a canvas for creative expression within our amazing new kids’ range.”

McRae highlighted the inspiration drawn from the series’ rich characters and mysterious storylines, adding, “We are eager to launch this line of shoes just in time for kids to gear up to go back to school for some new adventures of their own.”

“Stranger Things,” known for inspiring collaborations with brands like Vans and Melissa, is currently shooting its fifth and final season, adding a layer of excitement and nostalgia to this collaboration.

For fans and sneaker collectors alike, the Clarks x Stranger Things collection promises a stylish trip back to the 80s with a modern twist, perfect for young adventurers ready to explore both school halls and otherworldly dimensions.
