Destroy Lonely’s highly anticipated sophomore album is officially on the way. The rapper recently confirmed the release of LOVE LASTS FOREVER after teasing its cover art on Instagram on August 15. The announcement solidifies the upcoming LP’s arrival, following his debut album, If Looks Could Kill, which dropped just over a year ago.
In his announcement, Destroy Lonely shared that the album took about a year to perfect, expressing hope that fans will appreciate the final product. “Hope y’all love this as much as we do,” he stated.
Scheduled for release on August 30, LOVE LASTS FOREVER promises to build on the momentum of his previous work. While specific details about the album, including the full tracklist, are still under wraps, Lonely has hinted at two different versions of the project. He also confirmed that his recent single, “LUV 4 YA,” will be included in the tracklist.
Fans can look forward to both versions of the album when it drops on all major streaming platforms later this month.
