Craftsmanship takes center stage as Kim Jones partners with the iconic Italian streetwear label Stone Island, founded by Massimo Osti, for Dior Men’s latest collaborative capsule.
Kim Jones is known for his collaborative endeavors at Dior, having previously worked with renowned names like KAWS and Travis Scott. Now, he joins forces with Stone Island to explore the intersection of high fashion and streetwear. This unique collaboration bridges Parisian haute couture with Northern Italian functional detailing, creating an unprecedented capsule collection.
Drawing inspiration from military aesthetics, the collection seamlessly blends Dior’s tailoring traditions with Stone Island’s premium materials and dyeing and embroidery techniques. Co-branded with the signatures of both labels, such as Dior’s “Double Pleat” and Stone Island’s “Dutch Rope” detailing, the pieces reflect the best of both worlds. Stone Island’s iconic compass insignia adorns the collection, appearing on sleeves, trousers, and accessories. Even footwear gets a makeover, featuring sneakers crafted from Stone Island’s cotton sateen and adorned with stitched Dior Oblique patterns.
