Multitalented artist Donald Glover has revealed the trailer for his latest cinematic endeavor, Bando Stone & the New World, a film he directed, starred in, and scored under his Childish Gambino moniker. The trailer promises an action-packed adventure, showcasing Glover as the titular Bando Stone, a mail carrier navigating a desolate town alongside co-star Jessica Allain and her on-screen child. The trio must confront a myriad of challenges, including monsters, dinosaurs, and sci-fi elements.

Accompanying the trailer is the announcement of Glover’s new Childish Gambino single, “Lithonia,” set for release on July 2. The song will feature on the film’s soundtrack, which doubles as Glover’s upcoming album, Bando Stone & the New World. This project follows his previously announced album, Atavista, the reworked version of 2018’s 3.15.20.
