Como-based creative duo Draga & Aurel have always focused their craft on exploring transparency through light and color. Recently, they showcased their latest collection, Zen, at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Milan Design Week.
The Zen collection features a large dining table and a trio of coffee tables, continuing Draga & Aurel’s experimental journey. Crafted from lucite with a frosted satin finish, these pieces resemble ice sculptures and otherworldly monuments with their sharp, geometric forms.
Staying true to their signature palettes, the Zen tables are adorned with a captivating blend of refracting pastels and fluorescent streaks. This creates the illusion of colors being trapped within, adding an extra layer of allure to the collection’s ethereal ambiance.
