Emily Ratajkowski has once again used her fashion choices to engage in political discourse. Today, as the jury in the criminal trial against former President Donald Trump announced a guilty verdict on all 34 charges, the model stepped out in a particularly timely T-shirt. Ratajkowski wore a black tee from Platform featuring a black-and-white image of Stormy Daniels, the porn actor and director who was paid off by Trump ahead of the 2016 election. She paired the shirt with sweat shorts, red Vans, and yellow sunglasses.
This isn’t the first time Ratajkowski has made a political statement through her wardrobe. In February 2020, she wore a tee supporting then-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, emblazoned with the words “Rage against the machine.” And in December 2019, she attended the premiere of Uncut Gems in a black Hervé Leger dress with the words “fuck Harvey” scrawled on her arm, referencing the disgraced film producer and now-convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein. Emily Ratajkowski continues to use fashion as a powerful tool to express her political beliefs and comment on current events.
