Emma Corrin Joins the Saint Laurent Fashion World

Emma Corrin made a stunning appearance in Berlin yesterday afternoon for the first fan event of their upcoming film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Sharing the screen with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the titular roles, this movie marks Corrin’s official debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, beyond this significant milestone, Corrin also cemented their place in the Saint Laurent Cinematic Universe, a notable achievement in the fashion realm. 

Known for their transformative style, Corrin departed from their previous roles to embody one of Anthony Vaccarello’s muses, showcasing look number 16 from the AW24 Saint Laurent women’s collection. The ensemble featured a belted satin mini-dress that cleverly transformed into suspenders mid-thigh, seamlessly attached to sheer black stockings. This daring silhouette, although challenging, was effortlessly pulled off by Corrin, who has a knack for making unconventional styles look effortlessly chic. 

Instead of the sheer headwrap seen on the runway, Corrin opted for their signature pixie haircut, recently dyed jet-black to complement the ensemble perfectly. This induction into the SLCU (Saint Laurent Cinematic Universe) aligns with Corrin’s longstanding passion for fashion, often seen in avant-garde pieces from designers like JW Anderson and Miu Miu. They have also graced runways and starred in campaigns for Miu Miu, solidifying their status as a fashion icon. 

Among the esteemed members of this fashion universe are recent campaign star Bella Hadid, known for her daring fashion choices, and front-row regulars like Kate Moss and Mia Khalifa. Corrin joins this elite company with their distinctive style and fashion-forward approach. 

While the fan event itself had its quirks, including posing with fake plastic guns alongside Jackman and Reynolds, Corrin’s presence brought a touch of runway elegance with their Saint Laurent ensemble. As excitement builds for Deadpool & Wolverine, Corrin continues to make waves both on screen and in the world of fashion.
