NewJeans has unveiled visuals for their upcoming Japanese single, “Supernatural,” offering a glimpse into the atmosphere and location of their forthcoming release. Additionally, the images hint at an apparel collaboration with renowned Japanese streetwear icon, Hiroshi Fujiwara.
In the promotional photos, each member of the group is seen sporting streetwear-inspired outfits, featuring loose T-shirts, baggy jeans, Timberland boots, bucket hats, and caps. Notably, the oversized T-shirts stand out as the primary collaborative product, adorned with co-branded graphics and lettering.
This marks NewJeans’ latest collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara, following their previous work together when Fujiwara photographed NewJeans’ Hanni for the cover of W Korea in January. Additionally, the group recently collaborated with another influential Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami, who infused his signature cute style into their “Right Now” music video teaser.
NewJeans’ single “Supernatural” is scheduled for release on June 21. Specific details about the collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara have yet to be confirmed.
