Michael Rubin’s annual July 4 “White Party” in the Hamptons is renowned for its star-studded guest list and extravagant gifts. Recently, Will Makris of Makris Hospitality unveiled a sneak peek of the limited-edition Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 that each attendee will receive this year.
The exclusive sneaker, limited to just 350 units, was specially crafted for Rubin’s guests. Delivered in a “White Party 2024” briefcase, the all-white design aligns perfectly with the party’s theme. Each pair features custom branding on the tongue, indicating which unit the guest has received, along with the invitee’s name and initials printed inside the tongue, on the metal lace guard, and atop the insole.
A card inside the box humorously advises, “Don’t puke on these,” and emphasizes the exclusivity with, “Not for resale…I know who you are.” As the note suggests, these exclusive sneakers will not be available for public purchase and are intended to remain with Rubin’s attendees, who are prohibited from reselling them.
Last month, Drake showcased the custom artwork by George Condo that accompanied his invitation, further underlining the event’s opulence. This year’s unique Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1s add another layer of exclusivity to Rubin’s legendary White Party.
