The luxurious Aman Group has officially launched its first standalone branded residences, the Aman Residences Tokyo. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, these residences uphold Aman’s reputation for affluence and high-end hospitality.
With 35 properties worldwide, the Aman Residences Tokyo marks a significant milestone as the group’s first venture into standalone residences. Known for its exquisite design, privacy, and elite experience, Aman’s latest offering resides in Tokyo’s tallest residential building, the Mori JP Tower by Pelli Clarke & Partners. Part of the Azabudai Hills development, the tower stands 1,066 feet tall, blending Asian and European influences to create a “quiet but strong” addition to Aman’s portfolio.

In an interview with Wallpaper*, co-founder Glenn Pushelberg reflected on the 30-year project, stating, “We wanted to convey a clear, powerful personality that remains true to the Aman brand.” The Aman Residences Tokyo includes 91 fully serviced units, each with private entrances and dedicated elevators. Residents are welcomed with grand entries, soaring ceilings, and ample square footage, ensuring a luxurious and private experience.
Exclusive amenities rivaling those of a high-end hotel include communal spaces such as a lounge, bar, private dining room, tea room, library, reading room, media room, and games room. Additionally, the residences feature an Aman Spa, a 25-meter swimming pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation room, gym, and two treatment rooms. Emphasizing luxury wellness, the property also boasts a public art collection curated by the Mori Art Foundation.
Aman Residences Tokyo is the first of 14 planned branded residences, with future locations set to open in Bangkok, Beverly Hills, Miami, and Niseko.
