The Emory has opened its doors as London’s first hotel composed entirely of suites, marking a significant addition to the city’s luxury accommodation scene. Owned and operated by Maybourne, the prestigious group behind Claridge’s and other iconic properties, The Emory represents architectural firm RHSP’s fourth hotel in London.
The late Richard Rogers, a visionary known for his modernist designs, led the creation of The Emory alongside Ivan Harbour. Located in the upscale Belgravia district, The Emory boasts 61 light-filled suites spread over nine floors, featuring Rogers’ signature floor-to-ceiling windows. In a distinctive move, Maybourne collaborated with renowned designers Alexandra Champalimaud, Andre Fu, Pierre-Yves Rochon, and Patricia Urquiola, each bringing their unique aesthetic to life across two floors with bespoke furniture and curated original art.
The Emory: Elegant Design & Retreat
French interior designer Rémi Tessier designed The Emory’s restaurant, kitchens, and bar. The restaurant exudes warmth with wooden accents and shades of orange, complemented by a series of paintings by Damien Hirst entitled “The Secret Gardens Paintings.” The bar features glass doors that open to a serene courtyard and includes a stunning stained glass art installation. Exclusively for guests, the hotel’s rooftop offers an additional bar and a cigar lounge, providing a perfect retreat.
Explore the elegance of The Emory with suites starting at £2,040 GBP ($2,610 USD) per night. This luxurious all-suite hotel promises an unparalleled experience in the heart of London.
