Ferragamo revisits its roots with an evocative Fall/Winter 2024 campaign set against the historic backdrop of Florence. Under the creative direction of Maximilian Davis, the brand partners with renowned photographer Juergen Teller to showcase its latest collection amidst the city’s rich heritage. Teller’s distinctive style blends seamlessly with Ferragamo’s sophisticated designs, creating a vivid contrast between luxury and Florentine authenticity.
The campaign features iconic Florentine landmarks, including Palazzo Spini Feroni and the sculpture-filled Loggia dei Lanzi, merging high fashion with the city’s genuine charm. Peter Saville, the designer of Ferragamo’s logo, makes a notable appearance as a model, highlighting the brand’s diverse creative vision.
Inspired by the Roaring 1920s, Davis reimagines the era’s liberated styles for contemporary fashion. The collection boasts elevated hems, fluid textiles, and relaxed tailoring. Key pieces include blanket capes paired with sleek leather separates, lacquered organdie dresses, and sculptural formalwear. The color palette predominantly features olive green, black, and bordeaux, while vibrant shades in cashmere and unlined leather add a striking contrast.
Footwear within the collection pays homage to Ferragamo’s legacy, offering modern iterations of classic designs such as Eva pumps, ballet flats, and square-toe loafers. The collection is further complemented by a range of leather accessories, including tote bags, hug handbags, and crossbody bags, all in vibrant hues that enhance the overall aesthetic.
The FW24 collection is available now on Ferragamo’s official website and in boutiques, with prices ranging from $430 to $12,000 USD.
