The next phase of Ghibli Park, unveiled in February, offers a sneak peek at new attractions. After eight months of anticipation, official opening dates for Mononoke Village and Valley of Witches are confirmed.
Mononoke Village: A Magical Tribute to Princess Mononoke
Mononoke Village, situated near the Hill of Youth, recreates the enchanting setting of Princess Mononoke. It opens on November 1 and features Irontown and giant slides resembling Okkoto Nushi and Tatari Gami. Access requires a combined ticket with Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse.
Iconic Scenes Come to Life in Ghibli Park’s Expansive New Areas
Spanning 2.9 hectares, the Valley of Witches is Ghibli Park’s most extensive area. Located between Mononoke Village and Dondoko Forest, it features iconic scenes from Howl’s Moving Castle, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Earwig and the Witch. Expect Howl’s Castle, Hatter’s Hat Shop, and more when it opens on March 16, 2024.
