Givenchy has inaugurated its first permanent store in Los Angeles, situated within the renowned Frank Lloyd Wright-designed building at 332 North Rodeo Drive. This 8,000-square-foot space serves as the brand’s West Coast flagship, with the first 4,500 square feet opening in August and the remainder slated for unveiling in early 2025.
The store’s design carefully preserves the building’s historic character while seamlessly integrating Givenchy’s signature style. Original architectural elements, including the diamond-scored concrete ceilings, red floors, and two fireplaces, have been meticulously restored. The space effortlessly combines sharp industrial features with soft, natural materials, creating a warm and inviting environment. Adding a vibrant touch, an archival tiger print fabric, originally used by Hubert de Givenchy in his own home, is featured on upholstery and stairwells.
Givenchy LA Flagship: Exclusive Collections Unveiled
The building’s original multi-store concept is honored with separate entrances leading to distinct spaces for men’s and women’s collections. Shoppers can explore a comprehensive selection of Givenchy’s ready-to-wear and accessories, including exclusive pieces designed specifically for the LA flagship. Notable items include the Voyou handbag, Antigona Cube, and Shark Lock boots, alongside a special preview of the Fall/Winter 2024 runway collection.
Valerie Leon, President of the Americas at Givenchy, emphasized the significance of this location: “Given Hubert de Givenchy’s love of art and architecture, the Frank Lloyd Wright building was the perfect choice, and the opportunity to bring Givenchy to life here has been truly inspiring.”
