The fashion house officially opened its first flagship store in Los Angeles, this time in the famous Frank Lloyd Wright building on 332 North Rodeo Drive. The store is 8,000 square feet, the first West Coast flagship by Givenchy. In August, the brand debuted the 4,500-square-foot space in its first-ever Los Angeles flagship, with the remaining area launching in early 2025.
Harmonizing Historic Character with Givenchy’s Signature Style
The design of the store has been very thoughtful in its execution, in which the historic character of the building is preserved most delicately and yet brings the signature style of Givenchy to the fore. The unique charm of the space has been brought back through original architectural elements such as the diamond-scored concrete ceilings, striking red floors, and two beautifully crafted fireplaces- all restored to their former glory. It is a thoughtfully curated space that blends sharp, industrial features of modernity with soft, natural materials giving a sense of warmth. A touch of vibrancy and life is added to the interior decor through the use of archival tiger print fabric that was originally used by Hubert de Givenchy in his own home, on upholstery and stairwells alike, as a nod to the brand’s rich history and aesthetic.
