Louis Vuitton continues to expand its roster of global house ambassadors by naming Gong Yoo as its latest addition. The French luxury brand has chosen the acclaimed actor from Busan, South Korea, known for his roles in “Squid Game,” “Train to Busan,” “The Silent Sea,” “Coffee Prince,” and more. Gong Yoo’s dedication to his craft, whether in thrillers, mysteries, or romances, as well as his advocacy for environmental awareness and mental health, aligns perfectly with Louis Vuitton’s values.
Having previously attended Louis Vuitton men’s shows, starred in a global LV Tambour Horizon watch campaign, and participated in the opening of Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul, Gong Yoo’s new ambassador role will further strengthen his connection with the brand.
Louis Vuitton brand ambassadors often feature in runway shows, star in campaigns, and participate in various initiatives and projects. Given Gong Yoo’s previous involvement with the brand, his transition into this role will be seamless. He joins a prestigious lineup of LV ambassadors, including Victor Wembanyama, BamBam, RIIZE, Felix Lee, Carlos Alvarez, J-Hope, and Jung Ho-yeon.
