Indie clothing label Lazy Oaf has joined forces with London’s popular coffee brand, Grind, to launch a limited-edition collection celebrating their shared East London roots. This unique collaboration features a range of items, from coffee tins and mugs to apparel, bridging the gap between fashion and coffee culture.
The collection showcases Lazy Oaf’s signature Happy Sad graphic, prominently featured on both the mug and the special-edition coffee tin. Customers who purchase the coffee tin can select from Grind’s array of home-compostable pods, ground coffee, or whole beans, available in various blends.
The apparel in this capsule includes a long-sleeve tee adorned with a graphic illustration of a cheerful character wearing a Grind T-shirt while sitting by a coffee table. The Lazy Oaf and Grind logos are displayed above the illustration, with the phrase “STRONG STUFF” below. One sleeve features a mug graphic with a sad face, and the collection also includes socks showcasing contrasting mug graphics—one with a smiley face and the other with a sad face.
Gemme Shiel, founder and CEO of Lazy Oaf, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration: “Grind x Lazy Oaf has been a dream project for me. As someone whose days are fueled by caffeinated beverages, it has been an incredible opportunity to merge our worlds. Grind’s witty yet responsible business approach and their delicious coffee have long been admired, making this collaboration a true honor.”
The limited-edition Lazy Oaf x Grind collection is priced between £10 and £44 GBP (approximately $13 to $56 USD) and is available exclusively at Grind locations.
