Recent leaks have provided an early look at the iPhone 16 through newly surfaced dummy units, which are set to be released this September. These units, typically sent to accessory makers, offer a preliminary view of the upcoming iPhone’s design, though they lack software and are expected to differ from the final product in both detail and material quality.
The leaked dummy units reveal that the standard iPhone 16 model has undergone a significant redesign. The camera arrangement has shifted from a diagonal layout to a larger vertical lens configuration. This change could potentially support new features such as Spatial Video, which is expected to integrate with Apple’s Vision Pro headset. Furthermore, the standard iPhone 16 might introduce new functionalities including the Action and Capture Buttons.
