Young Metro revealed his relentless work ethic, stating that he doesn’t plan to take a break even after releasing back-to-back albums with Future. “Of course everything will be in moderation, but I’m a producer and it’s not the same as an artist who might burn out with a specific style or their voice,” he explained. “I could do an album with Future and it’s not going to sound like my album with NAV. It’s just about how you space those things out and the order they get released in — but I’m always working on some kind of body of work.”
Perfect Timing Mixtape: A Star-Studded Collaboration
Perfect Timing, released in July 2017, featured star-studded guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Offset, 21 Savage, Belly, and Gucci Mane. The mixtape debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified gold by the RIAA.
