Justin Timberlake Halts Performance to Praise Martin Scorsese: “The GOAT Came to See Me”

image

Pop star Justin Timberlake made a memorable gesture during his performance at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday by pausing mid-show to acknowledge legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese in the audience. Timberlake took a moment to express his admiration, saying, “I hope this doesn’t embarrass him too much, but I’m sorry, man, I gotta do this. The GOAT came to see me, the one and only Martin Scorsese.”

Known for classics like “Goodfellas” and “The Irishman,” Scorsese graciously accepted the tribute, smiling and waving to the cheering crowd. Adding to the evening’s star power was Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, who was also in attendance.

This eventful performance comes at the end of a notable week for Timberlake, who recently dealt with legal issues following a DUI arrest. Fans can look forward to one final show at Madison Square Garden tonight, where Timberlake promises another unforgettable night of music and entertainment.
