Kali Uchis has kicked off 2024 with a special release, debuting the deluxe edition of her acclaimed album ORQUÍDEAS. Following her 2020 album Sin miedo (del amor y otros demonios) ∞, ORQUÍDEAS marked her second full-length Spanish-language project, featuring collaborations with artists like KAROL G, Rauw Alejandro, and Peso Pluma on the hit single “Igual Que Un Ángel.” The 14-track album was celebrated for its fresh sound, diverging from her 2023 release, Red Moon in Venus.
At the beginning of the month, Uchis announced the arrival of ORQUÍDEAS PARTE 2, though details were initially sparse. Now, the deluxe edition has officially arrived, enriching the original album with four additional tracks. The new content includes a KAYTRANADA remix of “Young Rich & In Love,” which introduces a new tempo to the song, alongside three new tracks: “Adicto,” “Simple,” and “Como Debe Ser.” The deluxe edition maintains “Dame Beso // Muévete” as the closing track.
