Karma is a California luxury car manufacturer. This year, Monterey Car Week unveiled an “ll-new” concept called Ivara “GT-UV.” It’s a futuristic SUV embodying the brand’s approach toward electric and hybrid vehicle technology and Karma’s vision for an eco-friendly set of luxury cars.
Ivara is a Grand Touring Utility Vehicle, which is a preview of how Karma intends to address very different market needs. It comes in two variants: one full electric and a range-extender hybrid. The former entirely runs on batteries, and the latter ties electric propulsion to a gasoline engine, thereby not only recharging the battery but also lengthening car driving distances and choices.

The Iva” does so Karma’s newest “Comet Line” styling, with its sleek and aerodynamic lines, but without the front grille of yesterday’s style. The low, aggreSUV’s nose melts into the windshield and rear window, making for a nice sports-luxurious look.
One of the standout features of the Ivara is its advanced bodywork. The bottom of the SUV is coated with a self-healing matte finish, where microscopic segmentation minimizes scratches and surface abrasion. Ivara is a massive leap for Karma, but pricing and availability are still to be released.
