Following the release of her latest album, Crash, on June 21, Kehlani has made her highly anticipated debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. The Oakland-born singer/songwriter brought her renowned R&B style and velvety vocals to this esteemed live music platform. During her Tiny Desk performance, Kehlani delivered a captivating set that included the smooth “Night Like This” from her 2019 mixtape While We Wait, alongside other standout tracks such as “Distraction” from 2017’s SweetSexySavage, “The Way” from 2015’s
You Should Be Here, “Can I” from 2020’s It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, and “After Hours” from her newest album, Crash.
Reflecting on her performance, Kehlani expressed her gratitude: “Thank you for joining me for my Tiny Desk performance. In addition to her Tiny Desk appearance, Kehlani is gearing up to kick off her Crash World Tour on September 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The tour will feature special guests Flo and Anycia and will span 32 stops across North America before continuing internationally.
