Kendrick Lamar Unveils Triumphant ‘Not Like Us’ Music Video

Featured Image

Two months ago, Kendrick Lamar dropped “Not Like Us,” a fierce diss track aimed squarely at Drake and his OVO crew. Released in the midst of their ongoing feud, the track served as the ultimate takedown, with fans chanting lines like “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophile,” and “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor” ever since.

Following the release, Drake gracefully exited the rivalry while Lamar shattered Spotify streaming records, even surpassing one of Drake’s own. Kendrick then hosted his Ken & Friends show in Los Angeles, featuring 25 local artists performing their hits. Lamar himself delivered powerful performances, closing the show with five renditions of “Not Like Us.”

Now, Kendrick Lamar has dropped a nearly six-minute music video for “Not Like Us.” The video kicks off with a teaser of what fans hope is a new track from Lamar’s upcoming album. The visual continues with Tommy the Clown hyping up “Not Like Us,” and features Kendrick smashing an owl-shaped piñata with the cheeky caption, “Disclaimer: No OVHOEs were harmed during the making of this video.”

Despite Drake’s attempts to stir drama by suggesting infidelity between Lamar’s wife and Dave Free, Kendrick shows his solidarity. Dave Free co-directed the music video, and Lamar’s family is seen joyfully dancing to the track, proving their bond remains unshaken.

Stay tuned to Wally for updates on Kendrick Lamar’s potential new project as we eagerly await the next move from the hip-hop superstar.
