The streaming figures for “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar’s diss track aimed at Drake, have now eclipsed a Spotify milestone previously held by the Canadian rapper.

According to ChartData, “Not Like Us” has achieved the distinction of having the highest single-day streams for a hip-hop song on Spotify, surpassing Drake and Lil Baby’s “Girls Like Girls.” The diss track climbed to the top of the global Spotify chart, amassing a remarkable 10.986 million streams in a single day. This achievement not only sets a new record for hip-hop song streaming in 2024 but also surpasses the previous record of 6.593 million daily streams held by “Girls Like Girls.”

Following the exchange between Kendrick Lamar and Drake over the weekend, reports emerged confirming that Drake’s bodyguard was shot outside his Bridle Path residence at 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Toronto authorities are currently investigating the incident.
