Last fall, Kith and Birkenstock introduced a fresh take on the London clog, featuring suede braids wrapping around the entire upper. The initial three colorways quickly sold out, and now the collaboration is back with two new editions.
Kith x Birkenstock London Braided Clog in “Lilac Ash” and “Birch”
This week, the Kith x Birkenstock London Braided will be available in “Lilac Ash” and “Birch.” The “Lilac Ash” version boasts a colorful, faded suede upper paired with a darker shade for its braided leather cord and mudguard, completed with an ash outsole. The “Birch” edition sticks to a monochromatic beige throughout the upper and outsole, aligning more with the previous colorways. Each pair is hand-braided and features a buckle strap with Kith’s script logo embossed. For sizing, Kith recommends ordering a full size down from your typical size.
High Resale Value of Kith x Birkenstock Collaborations
Since 2019, Kith and Birkenstock have collaborated on various releases, but none have commanded higher resale prices than the London Braided. Pairs have sold for upwards of $600, particularly the black edition with a shearling footbed.
Summer-Ready Kith x Birkenstock London Braided Clogs
The two new versions, however, do not include shearling, making them more suitable for summer.
The Kith x Birkenstock London Braided “Lilac Ash” and “Birch” are available through a drawing now accepting entries on the Kith app. Limited quantities will also be available on Friday, July 12, through Kith’s website, stores, and app. Pricing is set at $295.
