Anta Kai 1 “Garden State” Release Details
Set to release next week, the Anta Kai 1 “Garden State” features an all-green design inspired by New Jersey’s lush landscape. The sneaker boasts a jade upper and sole unit, complemented by darker green overlays and branding. The “Garden State” sneaker first debuted in China earlier this summer.
Kyrie Irving’s Signature Sneaker Success
Irving’s first signature sneaker with Anta has been a major success for the Chinese brand, with most colorways selling out quickly. “Kai product is absolutely electric right now,” said Anta Sports head of U.S. marketing Christian Laursen to Footwear News in June. “His fan groups have shown tremendous support, and we don’t have enough pairs in the U.S. to meet the demand.”
New Models and Upcoming Releases
Anta launched the Kai 1 in March, just eight months after announcing their new deal with Irving following his departure from Nike. New models have been released swiftly, including the upcoming Kai 1 Speed and the Tribe lifestyle sneaker, expected in two colorways this fall.
Kai 1 Colorways During NBA Finals
Several colorways of the Kai 1 were also released during Irving’s run to the NBA Finals with the Dallas Mavericks, including another green version called “Green Grails.”
The Anta Kai 1 “Garden State” will be available on July 20 through Anta’s website and select third-party retailers, priced at $125.
