Lana Del Rey, who debuted her first album more than ten years ago, has steadily built a dedicated fanbase over time. Despite her extensive career, it may come as a surprise to many that she has never performed at a major stadium, despite headlining prestigious events like Coachella.
However, that’s about to change as Del Rey gears up for her stadium debut next month in Boston. Scheduled for June 20, the performance will take place at Fenway Park, boasting a capacity of approximately 37,000 attendees. This follows her recent back-to-back shows at Mexico’s Foro Sol, her largest venue to date, accommodating up to 65,000 fans.
While fans eagerly anticipate her Fenway Park show, it’s worth noting that it’s not the start of a full-fledged stadium tour. Billed as a “special, one-night-only” event, Del Rey’s performance is expected to be a unique experience for attendees. Her last album, ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,’ was released in March 2023, and she’s slated to release a country-inspired LP titled ‘Lasso’ in September.
For those eager to secure tickets, a presale for Lana Del Rey’s Fenway Park show will commence on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general sale at the same time on Friday, May 10.
