The young British rapper Little Simz has just been awarded the highly prestigious role of guest curator for one of the most eagerly anticipated upcoming Tate Modern Lates events. The event is part of a celebrated series of after-hours programs by the renowned and internationally recognized London Museum. Since its launch in 2016, Tate Lates has firmly rooted its position within the kaleidoscope of London’s cultural heritage as an essential and defining event. Delightfully varied and complete, it combines marvellous panel discussions, live music performances, hands-on workshops, and dynamic art performances. The curators in the previous edition were the collective BBZ London and Canadian artist Megan Rooney. At the same time, DJ sets were created by some of the world’s most famous artists, including Floating Points and Nabihah Iqbal.
