Louis Vuitton has unveiled a new collection of limited-edition silk scarves, crafted in collaboration with contemporary artists. This exclusive collection features designs from Thomas Ott, Nicolas de Crécy, Lorenzo Mattotti, Icinori, and eBoy, each offering a unique reinterpretation of the house’s iconic four-petal bloom.
The “Maze of Precious” scarf by eBoy centers on the LV logo within a vibrant, multicolored maze, with elements of the monogram dispersed throughout. eBoy founders Kai Vermehr, Steffen Sauerteig, and Svend Smital describe the scarf as “a hybrid object, both a garment and a piece of art, a canvas on display. When worn, only parts of the design are visible, and its orientation is unpredictable.”
Louis Vuitton | Celebrating Heritage and Nature
Icinori’s scarf highlights Louis Vuitton’s famed trunk-making heritage, while Mattotti’s “Iris Spring” pays homage to the brand’s legacy with a depiction of the Iris flower, inspired by stained glass from the Vuitton family home. Nicolas de Crécy’s “Parfums de Méditerranée” features a garden landscape reflecting the beauty of Grasse, Provence, where the house’s fragrances are created, complete with distant mountains and floral borders. In contrast, Ott’s “Urban Flowers” presents a black-and-white design, abstractly interpreting the floral theme with a tree and a human heart as its roots.
The silk scarves will be available in stores worldwide starting August 30. View the collection in the gallery above.
