“Masterpieces in Motion”: The High Museum of Art Welcomes Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s Renowned Collection

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, the renowned power couple, are sharing their extraordinary art collection with the world. After its debut at the Brooklyn Museum, “Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” will travel to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, showcasing the works of esteemed Black artists from September 13, 2024, to January 19, 2025. 

This extraordinary collection, comprising 115 objects and 98 significant artworks, features pieces by iconic artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Amy Sherald, Kehinde Wiley, and Gordon Parks, among others. The exhibition is divided into sections, including “On the Shoulders of Giants,” “Giant Conversations,” and “Giant Presence,” which highlight the couple’s creative vision, the significance of the collection, and the impact of the showcased artists. 

Swizz Beatz, who has a personal connection to Atlanta, expressed his excitement about bringing the collection to the High Museum of Art, stating, “ATL is an important part of my story… bringing Giants to the High is an Art homecoming for me!” The Deans’ mission is to make art accessible to everyone, and this exhibition is a testament to their dedication to celebrating Black artistic excellence.
