Composer and pianist Max Richter has announced his new album, In a Landscape, set for release on September 6 via Decca. The first single, “Movement, Before All Flowers,” is available to listen to below.
Richter will support the album with a series of concerts starting in September at La Bâtie-Festival de Genève in Switzerland. For the Australian and North American legs of his tour, he will perform with the American Contemporary Music Ensemble. In a Landscape was recorded at Studio Richter Mahr, which Richter and his wife, visual artist Yulia Mahr, designed and operated.
