It’s hard to believe that five years have passed since the release of MGK’s Hotel Diablo. To celebrate the milestone, the versatile musician has expanded the album with a deluxe edition, adding six new tracks to the end of the now 20-song offering. This anniversary release not only reimagines some of the original hits but also introduces entirely new music to fans.

MGK has put a “Sad Version” spin on standout tracks “I Think I’m OKAY” with YUNGBLUD and “Glass House” featuring Naomi Wild, stripping them down to a more raw, emotional form that highlights a simpler, more introspective vibe. These reimagined versions showcase a deeper side of the songs, resonating with fans who appreciate the “sad-boi” aesthetic.

In addition to these new interpretations, the deluxe edition includes a live version of “FLOOR 13” and a demo version of “5:3666” featuring phem. These tracks offer a fresh take on the original recordings, providing listeners with a new perspective on the familiar favorites.

MGK has also introduced two entirely new tracks: “El Pistolero” and “Bullets With Names”. “El Pistolero” brings a gritty, intense energy to the album, while “Bullets With Names” features contributions from Young Thug, RJMrLA, and Lil Duke, adding a dynamic and collaborative element to the project.

This expanded edition of Hotel Diablo not only commemorates the album’s impact over the past five years but also showcases MGK’s continued evolution as an artist. By revisiting old tracks and introducing new ones, MGK provides a comprehensive and immersive experience for both long-time fans and new listeners.

As Hotel Diablo reaches this significant anniversary, the deluxe edition stands as a testament to MGK’s versatility and creativity. The album’s enduring popularity and the fresh additions make it a must-listen for anyone who appreciates genre-blending music and raw, authentic expression.
