Fresh off a true-blue Big Apple link-up with FERG for a T-shirt collection, Awake NY continues its summer collaboration series by teaming up with Tokyo-based MIYAGIHIDETAKA. This bespoke capsule centers around custom button-up shirts and graphic tees, celebrating MIYAGIHIDETAKA’s expertise in repurposed textiles with Awake NY’s signature style.
MIYAGIHIDETAKA founder Miyagi Hidetaka, renowned for using vintage bandannas, has crafted long-sleeve button-up shirts in black and navy blue. Each shirt is hand-bleached, resulting in unique 1:1 pieces that vary in material composition and embellishment. Accompanying the custom shirts are two co-branded graphic tees, inspired by MIYAGIHIDETAKA’s bandanna-based designs and Awake NY’s iconic script logo, available in black and navy blue.
