Nancy Sinatra Applauds Beyoncé’s Spectacular ‘Ya Ya’ Sampling in ‘Cowboy Carter’ Album

Nancy Sinatra was thrilled to discover that Beyoncé had used a sample of her iconic 1966 hit single “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'” in Beyoncé’s song “Ya Ya” from the album “Cowboy Carter.” 

Sinatra took to social media to share her admiration for Beyoncé’s creativity. She expressed how special it was to have a piece of her own album featured in Beyoncé’s song. She also praised Beyoncé’s interpretation of the song and thanked her for the opportunity to be a part of it. 

Beyoncé’s album “Cowboy Carter” features a range of inspirations, including samples and interpolations paying homage to The Beach Boys, Mickey, and Sylvia.

The singer is happy to be making music again! She talks about how exciting it is and how she’s going back to basics, using real instruments and recording sounds right on the spot. It’s just pure music!
